Our Team

Alison Laundrie

Comprehensively certified Pilates, MoveBarre and MoveGlide Instructor
Pilates Method Alliance Teacher (PMA-CPT) and Pilates Teacher Trainer

It is my passion to help each client achieve what is important to them, whether it is healing from an injury, building athletic performance strength, or just maintaining overall strength and flexibility. My approach to each client is specific and personal to their strengths and weaknesses. My favorite part is that I have the opportunity to help others find their strength. A strength that maybe they didn’t know they had. I believe that the practice of Pilates supports the physical and mental health we need to manage our daily lives successfully. I am certified by Power Pilates, the Physical Mind Institute, PiYo, Relief Through Rolling Instructor, MoveBarre and MoveGlide and certified by the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA-CPT). I have been teaching since 1997. I worked and studied Pilates in New York with highly experienced trainers such as Bob Liekens, Susan Moran-Perich and the renowned Romana Kryzanowska for 9 years. Fortuitously, I learned from some of the best. I am a certified teacher-trainer for Classical Pilates certification programs and continuing education courses. This has given me the opportunity to travel nationally experiencing how Pilates positively transforms people’s lives and livelihood. A BFA degree in Modern Dance has given me a thorough knowledge of kinesiology and anatomy, an understanding of movement and proper alignment. I believe in Pilates and enjoy witnessing the transformations clients experience through this form of exercise. This is my life; I would love to share it with you.

Jenny Passuccio

Comprehensively certified Pilates, MoveBarre and MoveGlide Instructor
Pilates Method Alliance Teacher (PMA-CPT)

When I first started Pilates, I could feel a shift happening in my body. Even having been active my whole life, I wasn’t necessarily “in tune” with how my body was moving. Consistently practicing Pilates immediately translated to how I was moving when going about my daily life. From the moment I started, I knew someday I would teach. Three kiddos later, I teach, I continue to practice, and receive Pilates in my own body. Both Pilates and Move Barre have helped me throughout my pregnancies and with recovering and maintaining my physical and mental health. Through the years, I have Comprehensive Certification through Power Pilates with Alison and am also certified through Pilates Method Alliance. I continue to be mentored and inspired daily, not only in teaching, but in my own practice as well. As a working mother, I strive to maintain a health/work/life balance. I’m excited to help you find your balance and help you discover what amazing things your body can do through mindful movement!

Jenny is Comprehensively Certified with Power Pilates and is a Pilates Method Alliance Certified Pilates Teacher(PMA-CPT). She is certified with Move Missoula for Move Barre and MoveGlide.

Jenna Tomiello

Certified Pilates Mat Instructor, Comprehensive Pilates Apprentice, MoveBarre Instructor

I was introduced to Pilates in 2010 while I was living in Missoula attending Grad School. I was just getting into cycling, and had dipped my toes in running here and there; adding Pilates into that routine made sense to me. I finished school and moved back to the East Coast (where I’m from), and started farming in the Hudson Valley. Pilates also fit into that lifestyle; it kept my core strong for long days of weeding, hauling animal feed, and harvesting vegetables. I loved understanding the exercises and their benefits, so I got trained to teach Mat Pilates through Power Pilates out of New York City. After changing jobs a few times, I made it back to Missoula. I currently teach at Clark Fork School, and am working on my Pilates Comprehensive Certification through Beacon Pilates, with Alison, here at Move. It continues to help me in my daily work, and has made me a stronger runner and cyclist.  I feel that Pilates is a great way to strengthen your body when it has experienced an injury or trauma.  I also believe it is a great way to maintain a healthy body and reduce the risk of injury in the future (which is why I bugged my cyclist/runner-husband to go to Pilates originally; now he’s a Pilates advocate himself).

Jenna is certified  through Power Pilates in Beginner and Intermediate as well as through Move Missoula in MoveBarre. She is currently working on completing her Classical Pilates Comprehensive training through Beacon Pilates.

Wendy Parrish

Certified Pilates Mat Instructor, Comprehensive Pilates Apprentice, MoveBarre Instructor

The first time I took a Pilates class I remember thinking; “ Yes! This is it!” Pilates spoke to my body the way that nothing else had before. Pilates was the perfect combination of strength and grace. I hadn’t been doing Pilates long before I knew I had to be a teacher. As with most things in life, timing is everything, and I wasn’t in a place in my life where I could do a Pilates training. I had two difficult pregnancies, and two big moves before I was in a place where I could do a teacher training program. In the meantime I was teaching mat Pilates, working as a cycle instructor, a barre instructor and BodyPump instructor. The whole time I was teaching group fitness I was craving the deeper connection and education I knew I would get through a comprehensive Pilates teacher training. One day I was scrolling Instagram and I saw a post on Move Missoula’s feed that asked; “Have you ever wanted to be a Pilates instructor?” I believe I said out loud, “YES!” I emailed Alison immediately and was in training a week later! It has been the realization of a dream I’d had for years! I love teaching Pilates! Seriously, since starting my training I have become convinced that it is the cure for everything, (just ask my family). I have also noticed a huge change in my own body. I feel stronger, more flexible and more in tune with my own body. I am the mom to 4 kids, I married my high school sweetheart and we have two dogs. I fill any extra time I have with my photography business, making things, music, travel.

Wendy is currently completing her Classical Pilates Comprehensive training through Beacon Pilates and Move Missoula.

Cassandra Da’Luz Vieira

Comprehensively Certified Pilates Instructor

I fell in love with Pilates during a Mat Pilates class taught by one of Alison’s apprentices. I was her guinea pig that she was practicing on for her Mat Pilates Certification, and it was the first time in my life that I had experienced exercising without pain. And beyond that, I was experiencing pain relief! I knew in that moment that I had to find out more about the Pilates Method.

I took a few classes at Move Missoula and felt like I had finally found what I had been searching for. I quit my job a few weeks later to pursue becoming a Pilates instructor! That was in 2015 and since then, I have deepened my love and passion for the Pilates Method, and have witnessed countless other people fall in love with Classical Pilates and get their lives and their bodies back, just like I did.

A year after I found Pilates, I was diagnosed with severe Crohn’s disease. I’ve been hospitalized and had several surgeries, I can’t imagine what kind of condition my body would be in if I didn’t have Pilates to help me heal and give me strength, contributing to the incredibly resilient body that I now have.

When I’m not teaching Pilates, I love hanging out with my son, writing, and co-hosting a podcast called The Real Life Show: Living with a Chronic Illness. I also started a nonprofit to offer financial assistance to the chronically ill and disabled, for things like Pilates, nutrition counseling, and more. I’m currently living in Wichita, KS, caring for my elderly parent, but a piece of my heart will always be in Missoula.

Cassie currently teaches Virtual Pilates group classes as well as Virtual private & semi-private sessions.

Katie Thompson

Certified Pilates Mat Instructor, Comprehensive Pilates Apprentice

One of Katie’s biggest passions in life is working with people to connect with their bodies. Her own journey to healing through movement has been a driving force to want to share with others. Her 20 years of experience teaching dance and 12 years teaching yoga has led to an understanding and appreciation of how bodies work. Pilates has since become a foundational part of Katie’s life and she is so excited and grateful to be a part of the Move Missoula team!

Katie is currently completing her Classical Pilates Comprehensive training through Beacon Pilates and Move Missoula.

Georgia Littig

Certified Pilates Mat Instructor, Comprehensive Pilates Apprentice

Georgia received her BFA in Choreography & Performance: Dance from the University of Montana. Inspired by the creative and kinesthetic practices embedded in Dance, she moved to London, UK. Georgia received her MA in Expanded Dance Practice, specializing in movement methodology and community care, from London Contemporary Dance School. Movement brings Georgia joy! Georgia leads with an open heart, and is an intentional guide. Movement in all shapes and forms feed her soul.

Nicole Smith

Certified Pilates Mat Instructor, Comprehensive Pilates Apprentice

Nicole discovered Pilates and immediately loved the discipline and benefits of the practice. After growing up taking dance classes, the modality mirrored the form and function of her childhood. She became mat certified in January 2018 with Alison; after training she moved back to Sunny San Diego for a work opportunity, but continued to move in Pilates, barre, and yoga. When family brought her back to Montana, she made the decision to go through the comprehensive training.

Her appreciation for the mind-body connection of Pilates has allowed her understanding that the body cannot go where the mind has not been. She looks forward to working with clients privately and in groups and is committed to helping clients reach their fitness goals and discover the benefits of Pilates.
